Camp Wisdom gives our Scouts a real Scout camp adventure without a long drive. Cub World adds themed play spaces and classic Cub Scout fun, while the camp’s size and facilities make the weekend easier for families.

Friday: Arrive any time after 6:00p. Plenty of daylight and sunset is not until 8 pm. Dinner is bring-your-own. Informal campfire after sunset. Hang out and chill. Lights out/quiet time at 9:30p.
Saturday: Pack-provided breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Flag ceremony, fishing, hiking, canoing, Scout skills stations, campfire skits & songs, and s’mores. Lights out/quiet time at 9:00p.
Sunday: Pack-provided breakfast, ceremony, pack up, depart by 12:00p.
Friday: A couple of showers in the morning; otherwise, cloudy. High of 70 during the day; low of 55 overnight.
Saturday: Mostly sunny. High of 75 during the day; low of 65 overnight.
Sunday: Sun through high clouds. High of 75 during the day.
We are asking for $20 per family to offset the cost of meals. We provide Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner, plus Sunday breakfast. Friday dinner is bring-your-own. List allergies and dietary preferences on the registration form.
Snacks are not provided between meals, so if that's something your kiddo needs, please bring that for your family.

Friday Night: Bring your own sack dinner. No meals provided, but you can cook for yourself on the campfire, if desired.
Saturday Breakfast: oatmeal with toppings, eggs, fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee
Saturday Lunch: sandwiches (turkey, chicken, hummus), veggie tray, chips
Saturday Dinner: hotdogs and veggie dogs, beef and veggie hamburgers, chips, fruit
Saturday Dessert: campfire s’mores & dutch oven cobbler
Sunday "Getaway" Breakfast: baked goods (bagels, muffins, etc.) fruit, yogurt, juice, coffee

🐶 Pets: Sorry, pets are not permitted at Cub Scout events.
A parent or guardian must be on-site with their Scout at all times. Join for activities only, camp one night, or camp both nights. All participation counts! We will reschedule for inclement weather that is more than light showers. If we need to change plans, we will email and text by the evening prior.

Camp Wisdom feels like a real Scout camp close to Dallas, with Cub World castles, pirate ships, and plenty of space for Cub-sized adventure. Bathhouses and easy access make it a fun weekend for kids and a convenient one for parents.
We have the Daniel Boone campsite reserved Friday and Saturday night, and five canoes reserved Saturday from 9:00a - 12:00p. Parking is free.
You will need a gate code to enter the back gate to the campsite to unload your gear, but all cars must be moved out to the main parking lot.
The outside gate to Camp Wisdom closes at 9 PM, so if you arrive after that, you will need support getting into camp.
